Vintage Blanket Chest Fox Painting - Horse & Hound Equestrian English Country

Description

This is blanket chest from the 1940's.  It has drawings on the top of a fox in action. This appears to be painted in oils. The condition of the chest is rustic and distressed, the artwork in great condition and very well painted.
The chest does not close perfectly in front, there is a little gap, it slight. The iron hardware is old and rusted. The color of the chest is a aqua green, the old paint is distressed.
The chest is marked the Norwalk Upholstering Company 1943.   The artwork is signed at the bottom left.
This is a great looking piece and a one of a kind.
