Pair of Vintage 1940s Syroco Wood Bookends with Floral Tulips and Foliage

This listing is for a matched pair of vintage 1940s bookends. They are from Syroco Wood Co. Syracuse, NY. I found these in the attic of a house I was helping clean out. They are in very nice vintage condition. The only actual chip I could find is on one of the tulip petals on the lower left side of the bookend that has the most rubs on it (see last photo). If the buyer prefers I think they could be stained and polished beautifully. All I did was dust them off. One of the pieces has the original sticker on the back that says made by Syroco Wood Syracuse NY. It also has the original old felt still partially attached on the bottom. The other piece does not have the felt. Each bookend measures approximately 7" high x 6.5" wide x 3/4" thick. They are fairly heavy at a little over a pound each.
